Varzea - Silver Bay Minimal Overo APHA Filly
by Andretti MVF (AQHA Appendix)
out of Stars Angel Too (APHA)

Color Test Results: Ee Aa nZ nO

DON'T give up conformation or movement for color!

This little girl is very special. She exudes femininity and elegance on top of a powerful build and fantastic movement. She truly is the entire package. Gorgeous head and neck, great shoulder and hip angles. Straight and correct legs.
Hard to find any fault with this little lady!

She is a truly versatile prospect. Her maternal half-sister has done well in dressage, other siblings have been successful in reining and are all-around pleasure horses. Varzea also hails from a line of well-known Canadian cattle/ranch/cutting horses through her sire's side. She is friendly and curious with an absolutely magnetic personality. She is a total ham!

Her dam is 20 years old this year. This may be Angel's last foal and the only foal out of this cross.

Don't let her foal coat fool you. I believe Varzea will shed out to be a very loud bay silver - just like her niece, Pashmina, who you can see at the bottom of this page.

Pashmina was exported to Germany as a yearling - we welcome international buyers!

Since Varzea is heterozygous for agouti, she can produce very exotic black silver foals in the future.

Also see Varzea's maternal half-sister under "Mares." Bella is a silver black tobiano.

Pashmina: 2009 Silver Bay Part-Trakehner Filly

SOLD! Congratulations Dr. Marliese Dobberthien of Germany!
http://www.altmarkhof.com/e_index.html

On June 27th, 2009 Bella foaled a gorgeous and LEGGY filly by the approved Trakehner stallion Prelude. This foal is a half-sibling to the 3 Time ATA Young Horse of the Year, Scorpio. Bred to do it all - perhaps eventing is in her future? Both her sire and dam have wonderful dispositions and good work ethics. She should make for a perfect amateur mount. I expect her to mature at 16.1 or taller. She measured just under 14.2 hands at 1 year and 4 months old. She is eligible for the ATA Futurities. This is the first carrier of the silver dapple gene listed with the ATA.
