Pashmina: 2009 Silver Bay Part-Trakehner Filly

On June 27th, 2009 Bella foaled a gorgeous and LEGGY filly by the approved Trakehner stallion Prelude. This foal is a half-sibling to the 3 Time ATA Young Horse of the Year, Scorpio. I expected a jumper prospect out of this cross, but after seeing this girl move I believe that she is a wonderful dressage prospect as well. Perhaps eventing is in her future? Both her sire and dam have wonderful dispositions and good work ethics. She should make for a perfect amateur mount. I expect her to mature at 16.1 or taller. She is eligible for the ATA Futurities. This is the first carrier of the silver dapple gene listed with the ATA. Special considerations to experienced show homes.

Angel will be bred to Andretti MVF for a 2011 foal. This is going to be a fantastic cross. Should be extremely athletic and have phenomenal movement. This foal will have a 75% chance of being a silver carrier and a 25% chance of being homozygous for silver.

If the foal is a silver filly I will very likely retain her. If the foal is born a colt he will be available for sale.
